Do you know which symptoms need fast medical attention? Call 911 or other emergency help right away if:

  • You fainted.
  • You have very bad vaginal bleeding.
  • You have bad pain in your belly.
  • You have fluid leaking from your vagina and you think the umbilical cord has slipped into the vagina

Call your doctor now if:

  • You have any vaginal bleeding.
  • You have belly pain or cramping.
  • You have a fever.
  • Have signs of preeclampsia like, rapid swelling of your face, hands, or feet, blurred vision, or bad headaches.
  • You have lower back pain that does not go away.
  • You’ve noticed that your baby has stopped moving or is moving less than normal.
  • You have regular contractions for an hour.
