What is anemia?

  • Adding certain vitamins or foods to your diet can help your anemia.

What are the risks for getting anemia?

  • Being pregnant with more than one baby.
  • Having two pregnancies close together.
  • Throwing up a lot because of morning sickness.
  • Being a pregnant teen.
  • Not eating enough foods with iron.
  • Having anemia before getting pregnant

What are the symptoms?

  • Pale skin, lips, and nails.
  • Feeling tired or weak.
  • Dizziness.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Quick heartbeat
  • Hard time concentrating.
