- Adding certain vitamins or foods to your diet can help your anemia.
What are the risks for getting anemia?
- Being pregnant with more than one baby.
- Having two pregnancies close together.
- Throwing up a lot because of morning sickness.
- Being a pregnant teen.
- Not eating enough foods with iron.
- Having anemia before getting pregnant
What are the symptoms?
- Pale skin, lips, and nails.
- Feeling tired or weak.
- Dizziness.
- Shortness of breath.
- Quick heartbeat
- Hard time concentrating.
